Wine packaging

I've looked into wine packaging, although a lot of it can be very basic and one wine bottle just goes in its own simple box there are some that have some very interesting packaging ideas. I've noticed that often the colour of the packaging matches directly with the bottle and label colouring. Also with a lot of the bottles of wine they have one block colour often black or white and then they use one or two colours to really make it pop.
Here are some examples I've found of different wine bottles and packaging.

Simple design of box but a pull out section allows you to get a sneak peek at the bottle and gives information graphics.  I really like how although the majority is black but that allows the bright burst of the orange/yellow to really stand out.

Sleek and modern, it doesn't need a lot of text or imagery just simple but bold. The round packaging is different to the normal square and I think is a little more appealing. 

Now I know this isn't packaging for show casing, its just foam to protect the bottles, I really like the shape that its in as it's completely different to anything else I've seen.

Now this I love, rather than a box like everything else this is just newspaper wrapped around the bottle with the logo added, it reminds me of the brown bag idea around a bottle as you might see in american films. I just think it's different and quirky and I like that the only colour really is the pink because it really stands out against the black and white.

This box although plain is interesting in how it opens and the fact its almost like a gift bag with the hold at the top. 

I really like the group box I think the box colour makes the bottles stand out and it looks very classy. 

Love this wine, I would of done something very similar had I not known this was around I love that the brand has two completely different bottles and the complete contrast the two have. Although the brand is the same they each have there own little logo which i think is a very nice touch. 

Similar to the other bottle this packaging reminds me of a gift bag and I like the different shape. 

I love that the only different with this box is the slanted top yet it makes all the difference. I think it really gives it a little extra something because even though the box colour and design is simple the box brings it to that next level.
